Ah yes. Sorry about that. The reason that it is not available in some regions is because of a limitation with Modkits on the Epic Game Store. We can’t currently use IIARC ratings so we need traditional ratings on the game itself. Right now the modkit is not available in Australia, Brazil, Germany, Russia or Korea. Because how frequently our game’s content changes, we don’t plan to get traditional ratings until we are preparing for console release. So it will be a good while before we have traditional ratings in those regions.

Therefore, this fix will either need to wait until Epic Games Store allows Modkits to use IIARC ratings or until we get the game rated for console release. Either way it may be some time before we can do that. Sorry for the inconvenience!

@Dan Fornace Thanks for the transparency but this is extremely disappointing.

Does it have to be distributed on the Epic Games Store because it contains a modified UE5 or something? Why could we not potentially just have a project zip downloaded from a file host that we can open with the relevant UE5 version? Does Epic not allow that for some reason? (I don’t know exactly what is contained in the modkit, but from what ive seen it looks like a UE5 project that has the game with some test levels and the tools for character creation?)

This limitation makes it hard to understand why the modkit was distributed on the Epic Games Store in the first place, my assumption is that Epic forces you to do it this way which is a shame, but id appreciate to see more elaboration on why this is how it was handled because im a little heartbroken.
