Assist Trophy Item#59

For the full release of Workshop, it would be monumentally awesome if an Assist-Trophy-like item was added to let modders create characters that can assist in the heat of battle and add to the chaos. Assist characters would require less work than full fighters and they could be produced more rapidly.

The best part of this item is that it could be an additional outlet for the community to express their creativity.

It wouldn’t even have to take resources from the dev team. If no mods are installed, the item could just summon a random existing character to perform a forward strong or something.
