Animation length documentation#42

Currently, in order to know how long any particular animation should be, we have to manually investigate other characters. I’ve found this to be a lot of effort because I have to look at multiple characters to determine whether any particular animation should be the same length for everyone (e.g. ledge stand) or not (e.g. ledge attack).

In a perfect world, there would be a documentation page that lists out all animations alongside their frame data. Stuff like “this is always exactly 8 frames”, or “this is always exactly three windows of 15, 15, 5, and then interruptible”, or “this is variable but with an average of 10, min 8, max 15”.

EDIT: It would also be nice to have the animation guidelines the devs use. For example, I distinctly remember hearing somewhere something about “all double jumps use a rolling animation”.
